Introduction

Hello, I’m Shauntae Walker, LPCC-S, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor, EMDR-trained therapist, and founder of Holistic Counseling Practice. My approach to therapy centers on the belief that healing happens when we care for the mind, body, and spirit together. I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with their inner strength, cultivate balance, and move toward a life that feels grounded, authentic, and whole. At Holistic Counseling Practice, I provide a warm, affirming, and trauma-informed space where you can show up as your full self—no masks, no judgment. I specialize in EMDR therapy, I particularly enjoy working with members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community, as well adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and life transitions. I My style is compassionate and collaborative; I believe you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to help guide you toward healing and empowerment. Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning to continue your journey, my goal is to provide a space that nourishes growth, celebrates resilience, and honors the uniqueness of your path toward healing.
