Some experiences shape us quietly. Over time, adaptive responses can become constraining—limiting emotional range, decision-making, rest, or connection. Therapy offers a space to resolve what no longer serves and to restore internal coherence. Wild Souls Therapy provides individualized, high-quality psychotherapy for clients who function well outwardly while carrying invisible strain. The work is precise, collaborative, and paced with respect for the nervous system. Approach My work is grounded in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), integrated within a broader relational framework. EMDR allows for the resolution of deeply held beliefs and emotional responses without requiring prolonged re-exposure to the past. The focus is not on reliving, but on integration. I am EMDRIA-certified and draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as clinically appropriate. Treatment is tailored, not standardized. Sessions are designed to support: • Emotional steadiness under pressure • Increased internal clarity and self-trust • Reduced reactivity and chronic vigilance • Greater access to rest, presence, and choice The Work This practice is well-suited for individuals who: • Carry significant responsibility • Are accustomed to functioning at a high level • Experience stress, emotional constriction, or relational strain that is not visible externally • Value privacy, depth, and thoughtful care Therapy here is focused, contained, and respectful of your time and autonomy. Professional Orientation My practice is affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive. I work with individuals across identities and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. Ongoing education and reflective practice are integral to my clinical work. I also serve as a Washington State–approved clinical supervisor for practicum students, interns, and associates. ⸻ Consultation If you would like to explore whether this work is a good fit, I invite you to schedule a brief, complimentary consultation.
