Introduction

Enchanted Healing Hub wasn’t created as a business opportunity it was created out of necessity. Families and neurodivergent individuals have been failed by systems that claim to help them for years. I’m Shelbie Auberry, a licensed clinical social worker and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. My work is shaped by lived experience, systemic harm, and years of witnessing how corporate, compliance driven mental health models misunderstand, mislabel, and over‑pathologize autistic people. My clinical approach is trauma‑informed and neuro‑affirming. I believe distress is often a rational response to unsafe environments, unmet sensory needs, and chronic systemic neglect not a personal failure. I work extensively with autistic individuals and those navigating neurodivergence, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation challenges, severe mental illness, justice‑system involvement, and chronic marginalization. I am especially committed to serving people who have been mislabeled, misunderstood, or harmed by prior care. Enchanted Healing Hub exists because ethical care is impossible in exploitative systems. My mission is to provide accountable, honest, human care and to build a practice where clinicians are supported, clients are respected, and neurodivergent people are met with curiosity instead of compliance. -
