I am passionate about empowering clients to build an inner sanctuary in which difficult experiences can be met with kindness and care. I enjoy working with clients seeking to feel more at home in their body, cultivate self-compassion, and increase flexibility in daily life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, often integrating elements from DBT and ACT. I strive to help clients become more present, better understand and regulate emotions, and begin to approach challenges from a place of acceptance and self-kindness. I have experience providing group and individual therapy in both PHP/IOP and outpatient settings. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), and I enjoy employing mindfulness-based, compassion-focused techniques from my training into my counseling practice as appropriate to the individual. My work is guided by principles of trauma-informed care and cultural humility to create a safe space for clients to show up authentically. I am LGBTQIA+ allied, HAES informed, and neurodivergent affirming. I enjoy working with clients experiencing concerns related to self-image, anxiety, ADHD, depression, disordered eating, body-image distress, trauma-related stress, life transitions, and burnout.
