I work with children, teens, adults, and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by trauma, anxiety, emotional abuse, or major life transitions—and who are ready for something to actually shift. I got started in this work because I saw too many people trying to heal in systems that expected them to “just talk it out,” even when words weren’t enough. Over time, I specialized in approaches that meet clients where they are developmentally and emotionally, not where they’re “supposed” to be. My work is deeply trauma-informed and grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, connection, and experiences—not pressure. I specialize in play therapy, EMDR, sand tray, and CBT-based approaches, with a strong focus on trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, boundaries, and relationship dynamics. With children and teens, therapy is often hands-on and creative. With adults, sessions balance insight with practical tools and deeper processing—especially for those recovering from trauma or emotionally unhealthy relationships. Clients often tell me they feel understood here in a way they haven’t before. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I’m supportive, but I don’t minimize what you’re going through or rush the process. Together, we work toward helping you feel more regulated, more confident in your boundaries, and more connected to yourself and others. At Wonder Works Counseling, the goal isn’t just coping—it’s healing, growth, and lasting change. Therapy should feel like a space where you can breathe, explore, and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
