Introduction

Love Lil Miracles, LLC. Insight, Awareness, & Integration are Miracles too. You are already perfect, whole, and complete now. This was already set by Divine. You just get to remember. You get to understand and feel these words deeply. A space of inspired aligned action can lead to this expansion. Therapy could crystallize your clarity, calm, & consciousness. Who is your therapist? Prior to licensure I showed my love for social services, with over 20 years of volunteer and work experience on crisis intervention, domestic violence, and aviation hotlines, in stabilization units of hospitals, dialysis clinics, and in residential treatment homes for severe mental illness. With the master’s, my clinical skills extended fully to detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care in mental health and addiction treatment centers. During licensure, I learned soulful social work in palliative and hospice home care before moving into more leadership roles of Lead Therapist and Clinical Director in a treatment center. I am blessed to now bring that breadth and depth to you in my own outpatient private practice, full-time. 🙂 Populations I’m most experienced or excited to work with, from the above opportunities, are adults who are first responders, service members, aviation professionals, teachers, survivors of DV, elderly, overwhelmed care givers, other therapists, and those wanting to be the best version of themselves; though I love growing with many people. Specializations are trauma/PTSD, anxiety/depression, grief/bereavement, addiction/codependency, relationship/attachment issues, health/wellness, and cultural humility/awareness. My primary modality is transformational EMDR. You may also find me weaving in techniques of IFS, ACT, CBT, MI, EFT, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Strength’s Based, and Solution-Focused. I work with what you need. I am led by the ethics of the National Association of Social Work. My personal and professional values are authenticity, courage, integrity, and compassion. Fittingly, the top Clifton Strengths character traits I scored were Empathy, Positivity, Input, Activator, and Achiever. Living in South America for two years, leaning Spanish & Latin dances & teaching English as a Second Language there, obtaining a yoga teacher training in Greece, & traveling all the Americas as a flight attendant- I demonstratively adamantly love learning of other cultures and people. More grounded, I also always love & appreciate my dear family, friends, dogs, cats, farm animals, nature parks, yoga mat, and motorcycle at home. 🙂 My journey to giving away EMDR as a life’s purpose, started with it greatly impacting myself. One story I’ll share is my first one with it. After many car accidents, growing up in an icy city, it eventually became difficult to drive. When the first and only anxiety attack came on from just seeing a car accident on the side of the road, I had to pull over. Shocked, I called in late and explained my bafflement to the hotline supervisor where I worked. Gratefully, she said to take my time coming in, and that she had the number of someone who could help waiting. It took one EMDR session with that therapist to get me calmly back to even- on my motorcycle- for the next 20 years to come. Having known this gem, it became increasingly difficult to just sit by and watch others go without what I knew could help; especially working on the hotlines. One veteran survivor of DV especially ripped my heart out, not being able to find EMDR after I recommended it to her. It hurt. I felt those that give so much to others, need it most. So, I became an advocate for EMDR, even giving presentations to the Veteran’s Centers’ therapists who would let me in to listen. I let all the people who I met along my path, know- that they didn’t need to suffer. There is an efficient, effective solution now. Until finally, the question came of- Why wasn’t I doing it- from some pretty important people- including myself. As much as I wanted to be able to give access to others- I just had to do it myself. Lol. That realization got me to go back for my master’s degree & get the certification as soon as I could during. I get to be a bigger part of the change I want to see now. I get to be my true, authentic, passionate self. Serving you in the best way I know how. I love what I do! Now… Who are you? Let me hear your story. Or all of them. Let me stand by you. Let’s clear who you’re not. Flow to find your truth. Align your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Let’s see who you really are. & Create New. Let therapy with Shells unravel your journey with you. You’re worth it.
