Introduction

Hello, I’m Shelly Ray, the owner and founder of Elevate Counseling & Therapy. I have worked with children since 1995, have been invested in education since 2005, and started my counseling journey in 2021. I have experience with school counseling, child and adolescent trauma, and adolescents in the juvenile probation system. My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and young adults who feel stuck, misunderstood, or disconnected. I also enjoy working with adults of all ages, especially parents wanting to strengthen the parent-child relationship. My ideal clients might be feeling anxious, out of control, frustrated, or just trying to figure out who they are and what they want out of life. Therapy can teach better ways to communicate and cope, create healthy boundaries, manage stress, and find ways to manifest positive and hopeful futures.
