I’m Shenikka Jackson, a counselor at Legacy Marriage Resources serving individuals, couples, and families across Georgia. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and practice under the clinical supervision of Brandon Coussens, LMFT, while pursuing licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia. My path to counseling began in elementary education, where I saw firsthand how challenges at home can affect children and families. That experience shaped the way I work with clients today—with curiosity, patience, compassion, and attention to the relationships and patterns surrounding each person. I work with clients navigating marriage and relationship concerns, parenting stress, life transitions, identity questions, and the experience of feeling unseen or disconnected. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I want clients to leave sessions feeling heard, understood, and better equipped to move forward. I also integrate Christian faith into counseling when clients desire it, while respecting each client’s individual story, values, and beliefs.
