My therapeutic approach is grounded in Person-Centered and Liberation Psychology frameworks, creating a space that is safe, collaborative, and deeply respectful of lived experiences. I integrate approaches that are powerful, intentional, and not always easily accessible, including Liberation-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Queer-Affirmative psychotherapy (QAP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Lifespan Integration (LI), Family Systems theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman method. This blend allows us to address both immediate distress and the deeper patterns shaped by trauma, identity, systems, and relational experiences. My clinical background includes serving as a clinical director, supervisor for multidisciplinary teams in community mental health settings, supervising clinical mental health interns, preceptor for psychiatric nurse practitioner students, and developing programs, trainings, and community outreach initiatives focused on stigma reduction, advocacy, and access to care.
