In my professional experience, the most effective therapeutic outcomes occur when the therapist and client work collaboratively and with clear, meaningful goals. A strong therapeutic alliance forms the foundation for healing and sustained progress, and it is essential that you feel comfortable and supported when discussing the important and personal aspects of your life. With more than 35 years of experience in clinical social work, I have had the privilege of serving in both clinic and private practice settings. My background includes working with diverse populations, utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including reality-oriented, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused brief therapy. I have extensive experience treating a variety of conditions, including Acute Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, Anger Management, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Bereavement, Depression, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Impulse Control Disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I am also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). I am currently offering TeleHealth appointments for individuals ages 18 and older, with a focus on concerns related to anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, life transitions, and PTSD.
