Hello! If you are considering scheduling with Evergreen Integrated Counseling, allow me to tell you a bit about myself. I am a wife, mom, business owner, life-long learner, and board-certified counselor serving people just like you in South Carolina. Through all the many roles I fill in my life, I have learned that we often have little say about what life throws our way. Unexpected losses, illness, stress, trying to care for yourself and the people you care about can feel overwhelming and exhausting. Add anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD symptoms, or trauma and our days can feel out of control. The good news: There is hope! I offer caring, therapeutic support as we explore what matters to you most. We can discover meaningful ways to help you cope with life's circumstances, move toward your goals, and help you build skills to manage all the difficult thoughts and feelings along the way. Using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, and some somatic approaches from Polyvagal Theory, we will move at your pace to help you be more present and purposeful. As a trained Women's Mental Health Specialist, I enjoy working with adult and adolescent women who struggle with any number of women's issues such as reproductive difficulties, anxiety, perfectionism, depression, and grief. I am also experienced in working with adult and adolescent men, couples, and families as they face relationship difficulties, ADHD, developmental struggles, and traumatic experiences. Evergreen Integrated Counseling offers a safe place to be heard, understood, and supported.
