Introduction

Hello, I’m Sherri, and I welcome you to my therapy practice! I want therapy to be a place of hope and healing for you. Together we will work to understand who you are and how you are, which will help structure the course of treatment. Whether your goals are to create new, healthier thought patterns, heal from trauma, or develop a deeper sense of self-empowerment, I am here to walk with you every step of the way. My practice specializes in counseling for adults struggling with anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression, and trauma, as well as couples who may be navigating cyclical conflict, disconnection, or infidelity. I rely heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a treatment modality. I am EMDRIA certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and specialty trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and betrayal trauma for couples. Joshua trees don’t grow straight upward—they take shape through twisted angles and irregular directions, embracing their imperfections and reaching the sky at their own pace and in their own way. Similarly, our growth is not always straightforward and linear. Flaws are a natural part of life and what makes us interesting! An important part of the therapeutic process is learning to accept imperfections, limits, and circumstances without guilt or shame and then growing into the best version of yourself. Let me help you navigate the unexpected twists and turns of your story to fit the landscape of your life.
