Welcome—I’m truly glad you’re here. I am a mom, grandma, wife, daughter, and sister who understands that life can be both deeply meaningful and profoundly challenging. My approach to counseling is shaped not only by my professional training, but also by my lived experience. I’ve walked through seasons of addiction, anger, codependency, anxiety, OCD, parenting struggles, divorce and remarriage, and most recently, the heartbreaking loss of my brother. I’ve been married for 29 years and am the mother of three adult children, experiences that have given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of family relationships, personal growth, and resilience. As the eldest of three siblings, an Enneagram 1, and an INFJ, I value empathy, authenticity, and connection as essential elements of healing. I hold a counseling degree from the University of the Cumberlands and a teaching degree from Belhaven University. I practice from a compassionate, person-centered perspective, believing that each client’s story matters and that healing begins in a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted. You don’t have to walk your journey alone—I would be honored to walk alongside you.
