Introduction

Shevy, MS, LMFT is the therapist and owner of Place To Thrive, LLC. “TO KNOW EVEN ONE LIFE HAS BREATHED EASIER BECAUSE YOU HAVE LIVED. THIS IS TO HAVE SUCCEEDED.” RALPH WALDO EMERSON I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating ADHD, parenting, grief, infertility, and marriage improvement. I help folks build a stringer sense of self, find clarity, and create lasting change. From the time I was 11 years old, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. I have always been deeply curious about people, their experiences, emotions, and the meaning they make throughout their lives. It was only after my own transformative experience in therapy as a young 35 year old, that I truly appreciated how the therapy space can create the gift of life. That is the gift I strive to give my clients. In my work, I begin with respect, curiosity, and deep appreciation for your experience. I help you slow down your internal dialogue so we can understand what you're feeling and what has been hard to express or accept. You will feel more grounded in yourself, understood in your relationships, and able to respond to life in a way that feels true to you. Aside from being a therapist, I am an active member in my local community along with my husband and our eight children. I do lots of cooking, hosting, reading, and learning new things. My favorite place to be is outside in nature, hiking, or just being. I’d love to meet you and find out more about your interests!
