For many people, the hardest part of therapy is not talking. It is believing that someone will truly understand. That belief is what led me to this work. Life has a way of shaping us in quiet ways. Pain, loss, perfectionism, anxiety, and even the expectations we place on ourselves can slowly influence how we see the world and our place in it. We become experts at coping, achieving, or taking care of others while losing touch with the person beneath it all. I became a therapist because I believe healing begins when people feel safe enough to be fully seen, without judgment and without having to pretend they have everything together. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide online therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe our emotions are not enemies to eliminate but guides that help us understand ourselves more deeply. The patterns that feel overwhelming today often began as creative ways to survive yesterday. Originally from Iran, I understand what it means to navigate different cultures, changing identities, and new beginnings. Those experiences have strengthened my appreciation for the resilience people carry and the importance of feeling understood. They also remind me that every person brings a unique story into therapy, one that deserves compassion rather than judgment. My approach combines evidence-based practices with genuine human connection. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, overwhelming emotions, or the lasting effects of past experiences, therapy can become a place where healing feels possible again. My goal is not to tell you who to become. It is to help you reconnect with the strengths, values, and resilience that have always been within you. As a bilingual therapist, I provide counseling in both English and Farsi (Persian), creating a space where clients can express themselves in the language that feels most natural. If you are ready to begin your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
