Taking the first step toward therapy can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating, and I hope to make that process feel a little more comfortable. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and better understand yourself without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. Whether you’re adjusting to a new stage of life, struggling with self-doubt, feeling overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself on a deeper level, we can explore what is coming up for you together. Through that process, we can begin to understand what you need, what may be keeping you stuck, and what meaningful change might look like for you. Growing up in Alabama first sparked my interest in mental health because I saw how difficult it could be for people to talk openly about what they were going through or seek support. That experience continues to shape the kind of therapist I hope to be: someone who makes therapy feel approachable, genuine, and free of judgment. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Sometimes that’s exactly where we begin.
