Shrina Patel LCPC, NCC, CCTP, EMDR-C Born and raised in India, Shrina has always been passionate about helping others. After immigrating to the United States, Shrina pursued a career in counseling, earning a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC campus. Shrina is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi languages. Shrina enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience working with individuals who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and relationship problems. Shrina specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Narrative Therapy. In her free time, Shrina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her daughter, traveling, hiking, and catching up with her favorite TV shows. Having a different cultural background herself, she appreciates and enjoys the cultural diversity around her and takes pride in being a part of the health and wellness network through her profession.
