Introduction

If you're here, you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just... tired. Maybe anxiety is running the show, focus feels impossible, or the weight of burnout is heavy. You want to feel better, but the path forward seems unclear. I want you to know two things: you are not alone, and your healing journey does not have to be perfect. My Journey to Counseling My passion for understanding the human mind began at Wayne State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2013. I saw firsthand how mental health challenges touch every community, and I became dedicated to providing compassionate, effective care. This commitment led me to Central Michigan University, where I graduated with my Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Since then, I have spent over four years working directly with individuals and families, helping them navigate their unique challenges and build more fulfilling lives. I specialize in helping adults and children navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and professional burnout. I deeply believe that healing is not linear. It's a journey with twists, turns, victories, and setbacks. My role is to walk beside you through all of it, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic self. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I draw on evidence-based techniques like CBT and DBT to help you build a toolkit of strategies to manage big emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience. Whether we're working on unlocking focus, calming anxiety, or navigating a neurodivergent world, we'll focus on your strengths and goals. I am passionately dedicated to serving marginalized and oppressed communities, and my practice is a LGBTQIA+-affirming and social justice-oriented space. Taking the first step is often the hardest part. I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit. Let's discover your path forward, together.
