Introduction

My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity and compassion. I believe meaningful change begins with a strong, trusting relationship where you feel truly seen and heard. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and direct. I meet you where you are, and together we’ll create thoughtful goals for growth. I balance empathy with gentle challenge, helping you gain insight while also taking steady, realistic steps toward the changes you want in your life. I utilize a strengths-based lens and bring an encouraging, non-judgmental presence to our work. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have extensive experience supporting children, teens, and adults in processing past trauma and understanding how those experiences continue to shape present emotions, thoughts, and relationship patterns. If desired, I often incorporate art and creative expression to help clients explore feelings in ways that feel natural to them. I’m especially mindful of how culture, family dynamics, and identity influence the way we experience and express emotional pain. I have a particular interest in supporting clients navigating co-parenting or single-parenting challenges, as well as recurring relationship and dating patterns. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree from California State University, Northridge. My training is grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed care. While I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and attachment-based perspectives, our work will always be tailored to you. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I am honored to walk alongside you in that process. Supervised by Mariah Oca, LCSW (#110974)
