Introduction

Hi there. Firstly, my name Siobhán. And I am glad you are here. Perspective: Cultivating a deeper awareness of your personal life story – how you experience the world – is an essential step toward rewiring the brain and essentially rewriting your personal narrative. As we work together we will look for themes and patterns through narratives. Together we will collaborate to find a way to invite joy back into your life. Who I work with: Children, teens, and adults. I am especially passionate about working with young people — adolescents and teens. This is a formative period for identity development, emotional management, and psychological flexibility. Research shows that patients who have a consistent, independent adult in their corner — someone outside of parents, family, and peers — gain a safe space to explore agency, autonomy, and emotional regulation skills. How will we work together: As a woman in the field of science, I approach each patient through both a neuro-scientific and human behavioral lens. Together, we can explore the inner world that makes you who you are, while geeking out on psychoeducational insights that explain the biological reasons your mind functions the way it does. Approach/Modality: I use a person-centered (PCT) approach with an emphasis on Motivational Interviewing (MI), an intervention designed to resolve ambivalence and strengthen intrinsic motivation for change. This approach is organically combined with a variety of evidence-based practices to support insight, authenticity, and understanding of how your mind functions and interacts with your environment. Style: I approach everyone as a fellow human & use my bubbly personality, genuine curiosity, & compassion to develop rapport. An organic framework is used to approach each individual in a way that resonates with them. Specialities: Long-term therapy for children and adults. I draw on experience in emotional anatomy, mindfulness, & holistic approaches. Expertise areas: trauma, grief, life transitions, neurodivergent adhd/asd, and LGBTQ+ folks. I am happy to chat in a free consultation call, & can provide resources & referrals if needed. Chat with me for a free consultation to learn more(booked on my website).
