If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or unsure of who you are or where you’re going, you don’t have to navigate it alone. (And no, scrolling on social media doesn’t count.) Therapy can be a space where you feel grounded and comfortable showing up as you are, without pressure or judgment. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, relationship challenges, family conflict, or a major life transition, Skylar’s goal is to help you better understand what’s going on, develop practical tools, and feel more confident navigating whatever comes your way. Sometimes, knowing what to do isn’t enough to feel unstuck. You may understand something logically but still find yourself reacting to a past experience, memory, or thought pattern in ways you can’t quite explain. Skylar is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and can incorporate trauma-focused work when it feels like the right fit. EMDR can help you process difficult or overwhelming experiences, whether they happened recently or years ago, so they feel less emotionally “stuck” and have less power over how you move forward. Skylar works with adolescents, teens, and young adults navigating school, relationships, identity development, expectations from others (and themselves), and major life transitions. She also specializes in supporting athletes with confidence, focus, motivation, and returning to sport after injury while staying connected to who they are beyond performance.
