Introduction

Dr. Liz is a licensed psychologist, EMDR provider, registered yoga teacher, and somatic experiencing practitioner with over 30 years of mental health experience. She works with individuals from all walks of life with a strong commitment to developing a therapeutic relationship where all are heard, understood, and supported. Somatic psychotherapy is a journey of awareness that explores bodily sensations through a combination of dialogue, creative exercises, movement, and touch. Clients are guided to a greater understanding of their body's wisdom, as they connect/listen to somatic messages and release habitual patterns, allowing for freedom, expansion, and comfort within. Somatic psychotherapy means that you do not have to tell your trauma story or be defined by your past experiences. You can break unhealthy patterns, connect more with others, and become the fullest expression of yourself.
