You might be here because you sense an inner wisdom, yet feel stuck in patterns shaped by physical or attachment-based trauma. Your sensitivity and capacity for care can support deep connection with others, while also leaving you disconnected from your own needs and unsure of what you want. An anxious, overactive mind may make it hard to fully inhabit your life, and you may have reached a point where traditional talk therapy has brought insight but not lasting change. When this happens, it’s common for frustration or shame to arise, not as a personal failure, but as a signal that a different kind of support may be needed. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and nature-based therapist, my work focuses on how trauma and stress live in the body. We slow things down and pay attention to physical sensations, emotions, and patterns of activation and settling. This helps your nervous system learn that it is safe to move out of survival mode, one small step at a time. When appropriate, the natural world becomes part of this process: offering rhythm, support, and regulation. With these experiential modalities we move beyond the doing and into a greater capacity for BEING. This approach is especially helpful for people who feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected despite years of insight or effort.
