I became a psychologist because I’ve always been interested in what helps people make sense of themselves and create change that actually lasts. Over time, my work has become increasingly focused on helping adults who are thoughtful, capable, and often functioning well on the outside, but who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, emotional reactivity, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, or chronic overextension. My approach is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I draw from EMDR, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, ACT, CBT, and other evidence-based therapies, tailoring the work to the person rather than expecting the person to fit a particular model. I also work with couples and have particular interests in trauma and EMDR, adult ADHD and executive functioning, relationship patterns, and culturally attuned therapy. I want therapy to help you understand yourself more clearly, but I also want that understanding to translate into something meaningful in your life. Together, we can look at the experiences and patterns that shaped how you respond today, build greater flexibility in the places where you feel stuck, and help you move toward a life and relationships that feel more intentional and more like your own.
