I am a compassionate Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care. My practice integrates evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, and wellness strategies to support mental health and overall well-being. I see my job as providing education on various medication options and their risks/benefits/side effects to help you make better-informed decisions. I treat a variety of mental illnesses, including Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Substance Use Disorder. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. I value honesty and transparency and strive to communicate in a way that is both compassionate and clear. Whether we’re discussing symptoms, treatment options, or progress, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the care you’re receiving. My journey to becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner has been both personal and professional. I initially earned a BA in Economics from UC San Diego and spent several years as a small business owner, which taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of serving others. However, I found myself drawn to healthcare and wanted to make a deeper impact, so I went back to school and became a registered nurse. While working with patients across various settings, I developed a strong interest in mental health, particularly in how emotional and psychological well-being influence every aspect of life. That led me to pursue my MSN and board certification as a PMHNP. Today, I integrate my diverse background in business, nursing, and psychiatry to provide compassionate, holistic care to patients across the lifespan. We’ll work together to identify what matters most to you, whether it’s feeling more emotionally balanced, improving focus, reducing anxiety, or strengthening relationships. I help break down big goals into manageable steps so that progress feels achievable and measurable. Goals are tailored to your unique situation, and we revisit them regularly to track progress, adjust as needed, and celebrate milestones. My role is to support and guide you while empowering you to take an active role in your mental health journey.
