To me, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person brings different experiences, strengths, needs, and goals into the process, and my approach is shaped collaboratively around what feels most helpful for you. If you’re not sure what is most helpful yet, that’s ok! We can take time to explore together. I would love to hear what has or has not been beneficial to you so far, and we can go from there. Depending on your story and what you are navigating, therapy may incorporate approaches such as trauma-focused therapy, EMDR therapy (eye movements, desensitization, and reprocessing therapy), nervous system-focused interventions, mindfulness, parts work (internal family systems therapy), cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, or attachment work. I enjoy balancing meaningful therapeutic work with authenticity, humor, and moments of lightness, too. Therapy can involve processing difficult experiences and taking action steps towards goals, while also creating space for connection, growth, and rebuilding a sense of self.
