Before entering the counseling field, I studied neuroscience and philosophy and spent years exploring movement, embodiment, and healing through yoga, somatic practices, and personal travel experiences. Across cultures, communities, and life stages, I found myself asking the same questions: What helps people heal? What creates meaningful connection? How do we make sense of suffering, love, intimacy, and change? These questions ultimately led me to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and advanced training in EMDR and somatic therapy. Today, I work with individuals and couples seeking deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My practice is especially informed by my interests in trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, sexuality, intimacy, attachment, and the mind-body connection. I enjoy working with women navigating life transitions, anxiety, self-worth concerns, relationship challenges, and disconnection from their bodies. I also work with couples seeking greater emotional and physical intimacy, improved communication, and a stronger sense of partnership. Many of our experiences are carried not only in the mind, but also in the body, our relationships, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as EMDR with somatic and relational perspectives, creating a space where insight and transformation can occur together. Above all, I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship that is genuine, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Whether you are working through trauma, relationship concerns, questions around sexuality and identity, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can become a space to reconnect with your own wisdom and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
