Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued. I work with adolescents, teens, young adults, couples, families, and older adults, with a particular interest in trauma, crisis, emotional challenges, and life transitions. With experience as a crisis worker, case manager, High-Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator, and Multisystemic Therapist, I have had the opportunity to support individuals, families, and couples through a wide range of challenges. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and informed by an interest in neuropsychology, the connection between the brain, emotions, and behavior. I believe therapy should be collaborative and individualized, and I strive to meet each person where they are while helping them recognize their strengths and work toward meaningful change. I also have two therapy dogs, Mr. Parker and Lucy, who can provide additional comfort and support during sessions when appropriate and when clients are comfortable with their presence. Sometimes having a four-legged friend nearby can make it a little easier to feel safe, connected, and at ease. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am passionate about continuing to grow as a clinician while supporting others through their own journeys. My goal is to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, resilience, self-understanding, and personal growth.
