I didn’t grow up with a single “dream career,” but I always knew I felt most fulfilled when caring for others and learning what made them unique—their stories. During undergrad, I explored different paths before my faith led me to teaching. As a kindergarten teacher, I became deeply invested in my students’ emotional and social well-being which inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Now, as an LPCA, I draw on my teaching experience to help clients grow in self-awareness and confidence, celebrating their milestones and encouraging ongoing success. My path to becoming an LPCA included hundreds of internship hours, where I learned I work best with clients who value a calm, encouraging presence paired with steady accountability. I am passionate about supporting those navigating substance abuse, their loved ones, as well as moms and college athletes facing life’s unique challenges and transitions. Outside of counseling, I enjoy life with my husband, daughter, and our goofy dog. I love baking—especially sourdough—indulging in sweets, staying active, reading, and relaxing with a good action movie. Movement and teamwork remain important to me, and I often weave them into both my personal life and my work with clients.
