Introduction
I am a clinical intern at Agape, and I am completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. I see each person as a gift and a unique expression of God’s love. It is a privilege to encounter people in their woundedness and suffering, and to walk with them on their journey of discovery, healing, and freedom. I believe that healthy relationships are essential for each of us to live well and to flourish. Often our brokenness and weaknesses are barriers to true relationship. I hope that counseling can be an opportunity where each person is met with compassion, integrity, and hope. Counseling can then provide the space for greater self-understanding, and for forgiveness of self and others, which all allow us to grow in freedom. I am a Religious Sister of Mercy of Alma, Michigan. We seek to bring the mercy of God to those we meet. My work and service flow from my consecration, life of prayer, and life lived in union and charity with my Sisters.
