Introduction

Are you feeling sad, worried, fearful, angry, and/or misunderstood? These are common feelings experienced by children, adolescents and adults. The good news is, you don’t have to go though it alone. I will be by your side supporting you through exploring the core source of these feelings. Let’s work together to help you to gain insight, heal, and find a deeper connection with your inner self. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents and adults; providing mental health support and healing using an eclectic model base. While cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy are the primary therapeutic interventions, I have found it essential to incorporate other modalities such as motivational interviewing, & reality therapy. I am also trained in play therapy, art therapy, and behavioral therapy which I find extremely effective when providing treatment for children. After years of working in the school system, I also work with adolescents using an eclectic framework due to the various psychosocial, hormonal and peer related issues that they often face. My approach to treatment is individualized as I understand that everyone is different, and requires specialized treatment planning; regardless of age, cultural background, or spiritual beliefs. However, addressing the whole person is essential to the healing process. Psychotherapeutic interventions designed to encompass the Mind, Body, and spirit, have been proven effective not only for the client’s psychological functioning; but also have profound positive effects on your relationships with others, whether it is intimate relationships, parent-child, or peer relationships.
