Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Choosing to seek counseling is a courageous step, and you don't have to navigate this season alone. At Thorne Counseling, Wellness & Consulting PLLC, I provide compassionate, faith-informed counseling for women and couples throughout North Carolina who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, burnout, and significant life transitions. You may be functioning on the outside while feeling exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or stuck on the inside. Perhaps you're adjusting to motherhood, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, experiencing fertility or TTC challenges, struggling in your relationship, or simply trying to find yourself again in the middle of life's demands. You deserve a space where you can slow down, be heard, and work toward meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental. Together, we'll explore the mental, emotional, relational, situational, and spiritual factors that may be affecting your well-being. My goal isn't simply to help you "get through" the current season—it's to help you develop greater insight, healthier patterns, stronger boundaries, and practical tools that support lasting wellness. Faith-Informed Counseling As a Christian counselor, I believe that clinical excellence and faith can work together in the counseling process. If you desire to incorporate your Christian faith into therapy, we can thoughtfully integrate biblical principles and Scripture into our work. Your faith will never be assumed or forced; rather, it is available as a source of hope, strength, peace, and purpose when it is meaningful to you. Depending on what you're experiencing, we may explore patterns of thinking and behavior, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, relationships, stress, coping skills, values, and spiritual well-being. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. We'll start where you are and work together from there.
