Introduction

At the Well Counseling, Inc. is a safe and nurturing place created to help women and their families heal from traumatic life events and profound loss. When people first come into counseling, they're worried they will be misunderstood or judged, but what they experience at the well is a compassionate connection with God and others who have walked in their shoes and have been transformed spiritually, mentally, and relationally. I have been helping women and their families heal and transform their lives for over 20 years by providing biblically grounded counseling for individuals, families and groups. My passion is to create a safe, nonjudgemental community of believers within the Christian faith, regardless of denominations and religious backgrounds, while still maintaining strong ethical and professional guidelines. As a licensed professional with extensive biblical counseling experience AND a trauma survivor, I am uniquely equipped to minister to the broken and marginalized. My professional counseling experience is in early trauma and attachment disorders with a specialty in working with women and children struggling with mood issues, past or present trauma, broken relationships and life transitions. I'm a certified trauma family specialist with a background in parent coaching and school advocacy for the Special Needs population. I'm also specialized in DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy) and Schematic Therapy. I believe that healing abandonment trauma and insecure attachments comes FIRST in a healthy intimate relationship between you and God and then flows out to others. Therefore, you will never feel like your “just another client" to me. I'm committed to partnering with you in the process of change.
