I believe that if we're still breathing, there is still hope. I'm an LPC-Associate and National Certified Counselor working under supervision, and I bring nearly a decade of experience in behavioral health—from residential substance use treatment and inpatient psychiatry to recovery mentorship and prevention work. Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years teaching elementary school and working as a journalist, and I carry lived experience with addiction, cancer, divorce, and loss. This background shapes how I show up for my clients. I work with adults, women, older adults, couples, and LGBTQ+ individuals, drawing flexibly from CBT, DBT, ACT, Person-Centered, and Existential approaches tailored to your needs. I specialize in substance use and breaking cycles of shame, trauma and resilience, inner child work, self-esteem and self-compassion, grief, life transitions, and finding meaning. My approach is relational and grounded in the belief that your hardest chapters don't have to define you—they can become sources of strength and wisdom. I offer individual, couples, and group sessions both in-person and via telehealth, and I'm currently accepting new clients.
