Introduction

Building your mental wealth is one of the most valuable choices you can make. Therapy has the power to transform lives, offering a space for healing, insight, and personal growth. It provides the tools to break free from past pain, navigate life’s current challenges, and move forward with confidence and peace. With extensive experience counseling a diverse range of clients, I use an integrative, collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I strive to empower my clients to cultivate self-awareness, improve emotional health and build healthy relationships, all within a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where confidentiality is prioritized. I specialize in trauma treatment and offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients release the emotional grip of past painful experiences. EMDR is highly effective for addressing a wide range of concerns, including PTSD, performance anxiety, phobias, and feelings of guilt and shame. I understand the importance of culturally responsive care, and recognize the impact that culture, race, religion, family systems, sexual identity, and gender identity have on shaping each person’s life story. I strive to create an affirming environment where clients feel seen, valued, and understood. As a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, I can incorporate functional medicine components into treatment if desired, offering a holistic perspective on mental and physical wellness. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, I take a faith-friendly approach, remaining mindful of their spiritual beliefs and values as part of our work. Together, we can build a foundation for lasting emotional health, helping you thrive in all aspects of life.
