Introduction

Great to meet you! I’m a therapist who brings both professional expertise and personal life experience to my practice. Having faced challenges such as domestic struggles and divorce, I understand how overwhelming life transitions and emotional hardships can feel. I began my career in hospice care, where I discovered a deep passion for providing emotional support and compassionate care, ultimately leading me to pursue clinical social work. I work with adults across many stages of life, helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, trauma, grief, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I also have extensive experience supporting older adults and families facing the complexities of aging, geriatric mental health concerns, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps people process trauma, anxiety, grief, and other distressing life experiences. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and EMDR. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing, clarity, and personal growth, no matter where you are in life.
