If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected from yourself, or exhausted from constantly trying to meet others’ expectations, therapy can offer a space to reconnect, heal, and create meaningful change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, ADHD-related difficulties, perfectionism, emotional avoidance, and major life transitions. I also provide affirming support for members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Clients often describe my approach as warm, grounded, collaborative, and thoughtfully direct. I believe the client is the expert on their own life, and therapy works best when we honor your values, goals, and direction for change. My role is to bring curiosity, compassion, humor, and clinical insight while remaining deeply committed to supporting the growth you want for yourself. I believe lightheartedness can be an important part of healing, helping create space for honesty, perspective, and self-compassion even in difficult conversations. My work draws from Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), existential therapy, and solution-focused approaches. I enjoy helping clients identify the beliefs, patterns, and internal narratives that keep them stuck while also building on the strengths and wisdom they already possess. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 20 years in education as a teacher and K–12 science supervisor, experiences that continue to inform my understanding of development, relationships, and the impact environments have on mental health.
