My name is Stephanie Almanza, MSW, LGSW, LADC, and ICGC-I. I believe healing is possible, no matter how heavy the past may feel. I have five years of experience working in addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment, helping adults navigate trauma, substance use concerns, gambling-related issues, anxiety, depression, and life's many challenges. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and draw from evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, person-centered therapy, behavior modification, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My path to this work is both professional and personal. Through my own recovery and healing journey, I have developed a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for help and make meaningful changes. These experiences shape the way I show up with clients—with compassion, authenticity, and respect for each person's unique story. Whether you are working through trauma, rebuilding in recovery, navigating a difficult season of life, or seeking personal growth, I strive to provide a supportive space where healing, insight, and lasting change can occur.
