Hi, I’m Stephanie. I’m glad you’re here. When your child is struggling, it can be difficult to know what they need or how best to help. My goal is to provide a supportive space where children can express themselves, work through challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive—while helping parents feel more confident and connected along the way. I work from a family-systems, strengths-based, and attachment-focused perspective. I believe that one of the most powerful influences on a child’s well-being is their relationship with their caregiver. Because of this, parents are an important part of the therapeutic process. I have extensive experience helping children experiencing anxiety, big emotions, behavioral concerns, difficulties with peers or school, grief, trauma, and significant life transitions such as separation and divorce. PLAY THERAPY As a Registered Play Therapist, I use play and carefully selected therapeutic toys to help children express themselves, work through challenges, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others. I work collaboratively with children and their families to support meaningful and lasting change. In addition to play and family therapy, I offer Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), an evidence-based approach that strengthens the caregiver-child relationship, builds a child’s sense of self, and helps reduce emotional and behavioral concerns. SUPPORTING YOUR FAMILY Parenting is one of the most important—and often most challenging—roles we take on. It truly takes a village, and you don’t have to navigate those challenges alone. I’d be honored to be part of your village. Contact me to schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation so we can talk about what’s happening, what support might be helpful, and whether I may be a good fit for your family.
