Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma & Relationship Healing with Stephanie Brown Real Support. Real Tools. Real You. Hey—I’m Stephanie Brown, and I’m here for people who are tired of carrying the weight of it all on their own. I specialize in helping teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families work through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and big life changes—all while creating space for you to heal, grow, and feel more like yourself again. If you’re untangling childhood experiences, managing stress that just won’t quit, or trying to build healthier connections, you don’t have to do it alone. This is your space to be seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. What You Can Expect in Session Our sessions are part honest conversation, part strategy, and part “okay, let’s actually figure this out.” We’ll look at what’s going on right now, dig into how your past might still be showing up, and build tools that actually work in your real life. Clients describe me as warm, collaborative, and real—someone who will both hold space for you and challenge you when you need it. You’ll leave with clarity, practical skills, and the confidence to carry what we work on into your everyday life. How I Work My foundation is psychodynamic therapy, which means we explore how your past experiences and early relationships are shaping your patterns today. But I’m not a one-note therapist—I mix in other approaches so we can work in the way that fits you best, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to process painful experiences safely Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for quick, targeted change Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen connection and trust in relationships Play Therapy for kids to explore and express emotions through creativity How I Help Together, we’ll work on: Reducing stress and anxiety Building emotional resilience Setting boundaries without guilt Communicating in ways that build trust and connection Healing from trauma and rewriting the story you’ve been telling yourself Creating daily routines that support your mental health If you’re coming in as a couple or family, I’ll help you identify the patterns keeping you stuck, improve communication, and create more connected, supportive relationships. What It’s Like to Work With Me Think of it like this—you walk in, drop the armor, and finally exhale. No pretending. No performance. Just you. I’ll meet you there with curiosity, respect, and the tools you need to navigate the tough stuff. We’ll laugh when we can, sit in the hard moments when we need to, and always keep our focus on change that lasts. My job isn’t to tell you who to be—it’s to help you see what’s possible for you, and then give you the skills to get there. Now accepting new clients—in-person and virtual. If you’re ready (or just curious), let’s talk. We’ll see if we vibe and start building the next chapter you deserve.
