Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, owner and provider at Better Being Therapy Services, Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor, contributing author on Psychology Today, and author of my upcoming publication for the American Counseling Association titled “Friendless: Why Adult Friendships Keep Failing”. In my work, I work exclusively with couples using the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy model. This model is not for everyone, but for those couples that are committed to restructuring their bond, both want to be present and work to save their relationship, and have change that lasts (instead of bandaid that will fall off in months) then EFCT is the model for you. Considered the Gold Standard of Couples Therapy, EFCT focuses on restructuring a couples bond through attachment science and safety. It is experiential which means healing happens in session, not through homework or "trying harder". If interested in a consult or to see if we'd be a good fit working together, reach out.
