Introduction

My goal is to help you live a more balanced, happy, healthy life! I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving St. Charles, St. Peters and the surrounding areas. I have a BA in Nonprofit Administration and a MA in Professional Counseling (2011) from Lindenwood University. I specialize in working with adults. I feel that balance and self-acceptance is something many of us lack as our culture does not seem to value self-care and a healthy balanced life. As a counselor, I utilize client centered, integrative approach to therapy and have advanced training in therapies including Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based CBT, and Schema Therapy. I will work to get to know you as an individual and foster the therapeutic relationship as to ensure success in helping you explore and increase awareness of your strengths and areas for growth. I have experience in working with individuals and couples. I have advanced training in relationship theories as well as issues related to self esteem, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I have experience assisting clients in crisis situations as well as individuals simply struggling with change. I would be grateful for the opportunity to facilitate a collaborative, safe working relationship, in which you can develop the skills to make improvements in your life and your well-being. I am a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, these services are offered separate from therapy. If you are interested in integrative medicine for mental health services please contact me. I am truly grateful that I have the opportunity to pursue a career as a professional counselor and would be honored to support you on your journey toward change, free from stress and anxiety. Feeling comfortable and confident with your therapist is the most important factor in successful counseling. I look forward to talking with you to determine if I am a fit for you!
