Introduction

Welcome to Lighthouse Therapy. My name is Stephanie Flores and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a mother, and a first responder wife. Since graduating from USC with my masters in Social Work, I've specialized in treating complex developmental trauma, ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and self-harm for the last 15 years. I’ve dedicated most of my career to supporting adolescents and their families through some of life’s most challenging seasons. My work focuses on strengthening connection and understanding within the family system—weaving together parent coaching and individual support for adolescents. Through this process, parents begin to feel more equipped with communication, rebuilding trust, and creating space for their adolescents to feel genuinely seen and understood. Since becoming EMDR-trained, I’ve had the privilege of joining many adults on their journeys of healing and self-discovery. So often, the patterns and pain we experience in the present trace back to earlier wounds—parts of ourselves that learned to just survive. Through EMDR, we gently reconnect with those parts, offering the compassion, care, and integration they’ve long been waiting for. As we work together, you’ll begin to understand your story in new ways, releasing old burdens and discovering fresh possibilities for joy, confidence, and connection. For many couples, the storm shows up as feeling stuck in the same painful cycles—growing distant while wondering how things drifted so far apart. In Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), our work shifts away from “who’s right” toward understanding the deeper unmet needs that fuel disconnection. Together, we slow things down, bring awareness to the patterns that keep you off course, and rebuild the bond that first brought you together—helping you return to warmth, trust, and a more secure connection. Whether you’re navigating challenges in your personal life, career, or relationships, this process can help you move forward with greater clarity and ease—living more fully in the present and at peace with your past.
