Introduction

I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, low self- esteem, and major life transitions. I have helped individuals in many different stages of change and tailor treatment to individuals’ unique needs. I feel that therapy should be a non-judgmental space that allows you to feel safe, supported, and comfortable through your journey. I feel that it is important to meet you where you are at and to work at a pace that feels right for you use. During sessions, I utilize a variety of treatment approaches - (DBT, CBT, strength-based therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and motivational interviewing.) These different approaches are to provide you with resources and skills to work towards your individualized goals. We will work together to discover which approach works best for you. I believe that understanding the ‘why’ behind our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors is essential to creating meaningful and lasting change. My role is to create this space for you as we work towards these goals and to provide you with practical tools. I will also ask questions that help you develop insight and find empowerment from within to create change and will provide feedback as well to help support your journey. In our sessions, you can expect to have open and honest conversations and we will work collaboratively on developing skills and insight to help you reach your goals. You can also expect to have a space that allows you to process your emotions and to feel heard. Therapy is an opportunity to dig deep into past experiences and navigate present challenges that may be weighing on you. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped as you move toward meaningful change.
