Introduction

I believe healing begins when we have a safe place to be honest about what hurts, understand what we have been carrying, and begin finding a different way forward. My work is grounded in the belief that people are more than the difficult experiences, relationships, choices, or circumstances that brought them to counseling. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected. My background in behavioral health, forensic psychology, trauma-informed care, and complex family and relationship systems shapes the way I approach therapy. I am compassionate and supportive, but I am also direct. We will look beneath the immediate problem, explore patterns and experiences that may be contributing to it, and develop practical ways to create meaningful change. At the heart of my work is helping people release pain. Not by pretending difficult things didn't happen, but by helping them understand what they have lived through without allowing it to define everything that comes next. You do not have to become a different person to heal. Sometimes the work is learning to understand, trust, and make room for the person who has been there all along.
