Welcome! I’m a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English) based in Winston-Salem, specializing in supporting couples and individual adults on their journey toward mental well-being. As a proud graduate of Wake Forest University’s Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health, I am currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. My passion lies in serving the Latine community and guiding new parents through the beautiful yet challenging transition of welcoming their first child. This tender time can evoke anxiety, stress, and even unresolved childhood wounds as individuals embrace their new roles. I’m dedicated to helping couples navigate relationship distress and help foster reconnection and improve their communication patterns. In addition to this focus, I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief. My goal is to create a warm, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your mental health needs, desires, and aspirations. I approach counseling from a holistic and person-centered perspective, integrating techniques from Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and existential therapy, among other evidence-based practices. You can expect a balance of challenge and support, with me as an active participant in your journey toward meaningful change. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, baking delicious treats, and spending time outdoors. I can’t wait to meet you!
