I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. Life’s challenges—whether anxiety, difficult experiences, or painful patterns in relationships—can sometimes make it hard to see a way forward. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive and thoughtful space where you can explore what you’re experiencing, better understand yourself, and develop new ways of moving through life with greater clarity and resilience. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I work from a foundation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the practice of radical acceptance, helping clients develop psychological flexibility and a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions. Rather than struggling to eliminate difficult feelings, we focus on learning how to make space for them while building a life that is guided by your values and what matters most to you. Through mindfulness, compassion-focused strategies, and practical tools, therapy becomes a process of reconnecting with your strengths and moving toward meaningful change. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, and I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oregon State University. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps people process and heal from difficult or overwhelming experiences. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for each client’s inherent resilience. Therapy is not about “fixing” who you are—it is about creating space to understand yourself more fully, develop new tools, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned with your values. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, diving into a good book or searching for the perfect french fry.
