Introduction

I've been doing this work for over 11 years, and my path here has been anything but traditional. I earned my degree while traveling the world, which gave me a real appreciation for different perspectives and ways of being human. I'm also a personal trainer and ultra-marathon runner, and I bring that same philosophy of building resilience to my therapy work. I didn't go to therapy to make my external world easier, I went to make my internal world more resilient. That's what I'm here to help you do too. Research shows time and time again that outcome is dictated by the relationship built between therapist and client, not by the modality. So my main focus is: are we good with each other? Because if we're not, it doesn't matter what approach I'm using. I work best with individuals and couples navigating life’s heaviest chapters, from trauma and anxiety to LGBTQIA+ identity. My clients are usually looking for a space where they can be their authentic selves while doing the real work of healing. I combine clinical tools like CBT and DBT with a deep understanding of how stress affects the body. While I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, we won't be doing a workout; rather, I use that expertise to help you understand the physical side of your mental health. We focus on our therapeutic bond first, using whichever tools help you feel grounded and whole again. I offer a trauma-informed approach that recognizes your mind and body are inseparable. What makes my practice unique is how I bridge that gap, utilizing my clinical license alongside my background in fitness and nutrition. I provide a holistic lens to help you understand how stress lives in your body and what tools will truly help you heal. Taking that first step toward therapy can feel like an immense hurdle. Over a decade in this field has taught me how to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment. I’m here to help you create a space where self-exploration turns into the awareness you need to choose a different path. Reach out, and let’s take that step together. www.fitherapyllc.com
