Introduction

I’m Summer Marchlinski, LPC, and my mission is to provide a supportive, grounded, and compassionate space where children, teens, and adults can explore their inner world and develop the skills needed to thrive. Through a holistic, mind-body approach, I help clients process big emotions, build healthier relationships, develop resilience, and reconnect with a sense of balance and confidence. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, family stress, or life transitions, you don’t have to do it alone. Here, you’ll find a safe space to breathe, reflect, and grow. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Athens State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Alabama A&M University. With over 12 years of experience working in both inpatient psychiatric care and private practice, I bring a broad clinical background to my work. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches when working with teens and adults, and I incorporate play therapy interventions to support emotional expression and development in children. I specialize in helping individuals facing anxiety, parenting challenges, mood instability, emotional regulation difficulties, and adjustment issues. My office is conveniently located behind Ressant Bank on Hwy 72 in Madison, Alabama, on the second floor. I offer in-person therapy as well as secure telehealth appointments for clients who prefer or need a flexible scheduling option. I see clients Monday–Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturday appointments available as needed. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the office. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
