With all that is going on in the world and our community right now, you’ve likely been carrying a lot for a long time. You learned how to get through overwhelming experiences, and on the outside you seem strong...but inside, you feel tired and disconnected. You might not be in crisis, but you know you’re not fully at peace, either. Maybe you want to feel grounded again, or to understand yourself more deeply, or to reconnect with the parts of you that had to go quiet in order to cope. You’re ready for a slower, steadier kind of healing, and a therapist that feels safe and honors your pace. My specialties include working with people who are healing from challenging relationships, including domestic violence and childhood abuse. I am trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems, and also advanced training in PTSD and C-PTSD. My goal is to help you move forward to heal from past trauma and to build a life that is beautiful and meaningful to you. There are seasons where we keep going because we have to, and then there are seasons where something inside us asks for more. If you’re feeling that pull toward healing, steadiness, presence, or reconnection, we can honor that together. We can take it slowly, one step at a time. This work is about coming home to yourself.
